According to Jin10, the African CDC held an emergency regional coordination meeting on May 16 to discuss Ebola outbreak prevention and control. Participants included officials from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, South Sudan, the World Health Organization, and the African Medical Association. The meeting focused on cross-border surveillance, infection prevention, case management, contact tracing, and resource mobilization.
