According to Wind statistics and SK Group announcements, Chinese A-share semiconductor stocks surged on June 3, with 25 stocks doubling year-to-date. Guangli Micro led gainers with a 17% surge, while Yuanj Technology posted a 217% annual gain. The rally was triggered by SK Hynix's expansion plan announced at Computex on June 2, with SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won revealing plans to double memory chip production capacity within five years to address AI infrastructure demand. Global memory shortages remain acute, with DRAM and NAND Flash supply gaps at 4.9% and 4.2% respectively for 2026, according to Goldman Sachs data.
