Today’s gold clearly exhibited a typical false-break-and-rally pattern: after each new high, prices entered a phase of sideways consolidation with a slight pullback, luring short sellers into the market, then resumed rising and eventually broke out sharply to a new high.
When prices are consolidating at elevated levels, avoid blindly chasing shorts at the lows; if you insist on short positions, only enter near key resistance levels. Suggested short-entry points: 4155, 4180.
