According to Bitcoin News, an independent miner using a single-chip Bitaxe ASIC mining rig with computing power of about 1 TH/s successfully mined Bitcoin block height 957382, capturing the entire block subsidy and transaction fees of 3.1382 BTC (about $200k). At 1 TH/s, the average probability of mining a block is about once every 16k years, making it an extremely rare event.
