From "anti-human" to AI leader, Musk completely changes his tune on Anthropic

Abstract generation in progress
CoinWorld news, Musk publicly admitted that he had previously misjudged Anthropic. It is now a leader in the AI field, and no company has released better models than Mythos and Fable. In February of this year, Musk called Anthropic "repulsive to Western civilization" and accused it of massively stealing training data. The turning point came after the two sides discussed business. In May, Anthropic leased SpaceX's Colossus 1 data center, using more than 220k Nvidia GPUs. Musk said he spent a lot of time communicating with senior Anthropic executives and found that they "are very capable and genuinely care about doing the right thing," and that no one triggered his "evil detector." Two months later, Musk ranked Anthropic as the top AI and promised not to abruptly cut computing power to harm them, because "that's not my style."

LOL, in February they were still accusing others of stealing data, by May they're renting servers to them — the face-changing speed is faster than AI training.

In the face of money power, there are no permanent enemies. The rent for 220k GPUs is enough to make people reconsider what 'integrity' means.

From 'data theft' to 'strong ability and integrity', there is only one Colossus 1 in between.

So earlier, calling him "disgusted with Western civilization" means you hadn't chatted? Musk's social-type decision is quite typical.
