Zelenskyy Sends Public Letter to Putin on June 4, Proposes Direct Talks to End Conflict

According to Jin10, on June 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent a public letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin proposing direct leadership talks aimed at ending the conflict through "just and dignified" means and establishing effective security guarantees. In the letter, Zelenskyy stated Ukraine has no intention to prolong the conflict and presented a ceasefire negotiation proposal, signaling readiness to implement comprehensive cessation of hostilities and offering to conduct prisoner exchanges based on an "all-for-all" principle.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded that Putin has not yet seen Zelenskyy's letter.
