Renaiss Protocol announced on X on June 18 that it has completed a $1.5 million seed round financing, with YZi Labs serving as the lead investor. Angel investors from Gate Ventures also participated in this round. Since its testnet launched in November 2025, Renaiss Protocol has exceeded $20 million in revenue within six months, with more than 260,000 users.
According to Renaiss Protocol’s official X announcement, the financing participants in this round are as follows:
Lead investor: YZi Labs (the organizer of the EASY Residency incubation program)
Co-investment institutions: Gate Ventures, Hash Global, XIN Family, Redline Labs
Angel investors (by affiliated organizations): Mask Network, Far East Group (遠東集團), Logoman, Hoopi, Legit App
The amount for this round is $1.5 million, categorized as a seed round.
According to Renaiss Protocol’s official description:
RenaissOS: Converts independent vaults and a collectibles store into on-chain verifiable nodes, which is Renaiss’s core technology stack.
Co-signed assets: Each asset is co-signed via encrypted multi-signatures. Anyone can independently verify the custody status; no single institution can control the assets.
Permissionless trading: With on-chain verifiable custody, collectors do not need to transfer physical assets every time ownership changes, enabling permissionless peer-to-peer trading on-chain.
Application layer: Renaiss.xyz provides users with an entry point for a collectibles marketplace, trading, and on-chain ownership. Renaiss states that it plans to further integrate the Renaiss SDK, DeFi composability, and AI agent infrastructure. The initial main collectible categories are trading cards; Renaiss says its goal is to gradually expand coverage to more real-world collectible categories.
According to Renaiss Protocol’s official disclosure:
Revenue: Since the testnet launched in November 2025, within roughly six months, revenue has exceeded $20 million
Users: More than 260,000 users, showing strong performance in South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Southeast Asia
BNB Chain RWA ranking: #1
Industry recognition: Won an award at Binance Blockchain Week Dubai Demo Night in December 2025
Incubation milestone: Graduated from the third season of EASY Residency supported by YZi Labs in May 2026
YZi Labs is an important investment institution in the Binance ecosystem and also hosts the incubation program EASY Residency aimed at early-stage Web3 projects. In May 2026, Renaiss graduated from the third season of EASY Residency. This time, with YZi Labs leading its seed round, it signifies that after incubating support, YZi Labs will continue to support it further in the form of institutional investment.
According to Renaiss Protocol’s official description, the funding will be used to: expand the vault network scale; expand into new collectible categories; strengthen product and ecosystem integration (including the Renaiss SDK, DeFi composability, and AI agent infrastructure); improve capital efficiency; and expand global influence, including markets such as South Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
According to Renaiss’s explanation, traditional collectibles markets typically rely on fragmented offline processes for authentication, custody, pricing, and cross-border transactions. Renaiss’s encrypted multi-signature and on-chain verification mechanisms allow both buyers and sellers to complete ownership transfer without moving physical assets, and also allow anyone to independently verify the custody status of assets on-chain.
