According to XRPScan data, the XRP Ledger's v3.2.0 software upgrade cleared the network's critical adoption threshold on June 15. Of 35 validators on the default Unique Node List, 31 have adopted the new version, reaching 89% adoption and surpassing the required 80% supermajority. The upgrade is set to lock in after sustaining this level for two consecutive weeks.
However, adoption across the broader node network remains significantly behind, with only about 43% of roughly 833 active nodes running v3.2.0, while 51% remain on the older v3.1.3. A bundled security amendment called fixCleanup3_2_0, which packages security fixes for vaults, decentralized exchanges, and lending protocols, still awaits validator votes to pass and requires the same 80% supermajority.
