XRP Ledger Launches 50K XRP Developer Challenge on June 22

According to XRPL Commons, on June 22 the XRP Ledger ecosystem launched the "Make Waves on XRPL" competition offering 50,000 XRP to developers who deploy live applications on the mainnet. The 90-day challenge runs through September 21 and prioritizes products with real users and on-chain activity over prototypes.

The initiative coincides with XRP Ledger Foundation's announcement of five major infrastructure upgrades aimed at quantum readiness, native lending, AI-powered security testing, formal verification, and an enhanced automated market maker framework. These developments are designed to strengthen the network's support for institutional finance and decentralized finance applications.
