On Thursday, the Federal Reserve named Xbox CEO Asha Sharma to its Productivity and Jobs task force, which will examine artificial intelligence's impact on employment and economic productivity. Sharma joins Marc Andreessen of Andreessen Horowitz and Stanford economist Charles I. Jones on the group. The appointment comes days after Sharma announced Xbox's largest restructuring in history, eliminating approximately 3,200 roles through fiscal year 2027.
