xAI Responds to Code Upload Row, Deletes All Historical User Data on July 14

According to xAI, the company announced a Zero Data Retention (ZDR) privacy mode on July 14 where code and execution logs are not saved. Users without ZDR enabled can enter the /privacy command in CLI to disable data retention, with all previously synced data deleted.

Grok Build lead Andrew Milich stated the system will retroactively delete already-synced data after privacy settings are changed. CEO Elon Musk subsequently announced that SpaceX-AI will completely remove all previously uploaded user data as a precautionary measure.
