WHO Launches Clinical Trial on July 2 to Evaluate Bundibugyo Ebolavirus Treatments in DRC

According to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom, the World Health Organization launched a clinical trial on July 2 to evaluate potential treatments for Bundibugyo ebolavirus in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The trial is funded by the WHO and coordinated by the National Institute of Biomedical Research of the DRC, the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Belgium, and the University of Oxford, with support from the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
