WaveBridge CEO Proposes Three Legislative Measures for Korea's Digital Asset Sector on June 22

According to Digital Asset, on June 22, Oh Jong-wook, CEO of fintech firm WaveBridge, proposed three legislative measures for Korea's digital asset industry at a National Assembly seminar titled 'Global Digital Asset Institutionalization and Korea's Legislative Direction.' The three proposals include accelerating the government's Digital Asset Basic Law announcement by June or July, clarifying domestic distribution conditions for foreign stablecoins and establishing institutional infrastructure, and explicitly defining legal grounds for liquidity providers and token brokerage services within the Basic Law. Oh stated that even an imperfect law providing a clear business framework would enable industry collaboration and liquidity flow.
