U.S. Treasury Yields Hit Bitcoin-Era High at 4.5%-5%, Pressuring Risk Assets

According to crypto analyst Darkfost on social media via ChainCatcher, U.S. Treasury yields have climbed to among the highest levels since Bitcoin's inception. The 10-year and 30-year Treasury yields are currently hovering in the 4.5% to 5% range, while market expectations for additional rate hikes this year are rising, keeping borrowing costs elevated and liquidity tight. As yields remain high, investors are increasingly favoring low-risk fixed-income assets over riskier investments like Bitcoin, compressing risk premiums across the market. Historically, higher Treasury yields have coincided with tightening financial conditions and downward pressure on Bitcoin's performance.
