According to Jin10 Data, as of May 15, the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve hit its lowest level since July 2024, with a weekly decline that marked the largest drop since August 1982. The reserve has fallen for eight consecutive weeks. U.S. crude oil inventories also declined, posting their steepest weekly drop since mid-February.
