U.S. Stock Indices Close Lower on June 22; S&P 500 Falls 0.4%, Nasdaq Drops 1.3%

On June 22, U.S. stock indices closed lower. The S&P 500 fell 0.4%, while the Nasdaq declined 1.3%. Technology stocks led the decline, with Arm Holdings down 7.1%, Palantir down 6.8%, and Rocket Lab down 6.4%. Netflix, Google, and Amazon fell at least 4%. In positive movement, Intel rose 5.1%, Micron advanced 6%, and Lumentum gained 5%. Caterpillar led the Dow component stocks with a 3.3% gain.
