According to Kores, U.S. Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn visited the Project Crucible site in Tennessee on July 11 to review progress on the critical minerals smelter project and discuss cooperation measures with company executives. Blackburn praised Kores' refining technology and operational expertise, noting the project is "a generational investment" that will secure key capabilities for the U.S. to compete globally.

The Project Crucible is projected to create 740 new jobs in Tennessee, including 420 in Montgomery County, marking the largest private sector investment in the state's history.
