U.S. Mint to Issue $1 Commemorative Coin Featuring Trump on July 16 for 250th Anniversary

According to U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, on July 16, the U.S. Mint will produce a $1 commemorative gold-colored coin marking the nation's 250th anniversary. The coin features President Trump's portrait on the obverse side alongside "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the dates 1776-2026, with the Great Seal eagle on the reverse marked with "$1" and "250." The coin, which does not contain actual gold or precious metals, is expected to be released in fall 2026.
