U.S. Judge Schedules Maduro Drug Trafficking Trial for June 2027

According to CCTV News, a U.S. judge on July 23 scheduled the trial of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on drug trafficking charges to begin on June 1, 2027. Maduro is currently held at a detention facility in Brooklyn, New York, following his capture during a U.S. military operation in January and extradition to the United States.
