U.S. Employment Rebounds Significantly to 7.9K Monthly Average Year-to-Date, Up From 2.6K in 2025

According to Jin10 data on June 5, analyst Anstey noted that recent U.S. employment figures show a marked rebound in the labor market. The analyst highlighted that 2025 was significantly weaker, with average monthly job gains of only 26,000 compared to 117,000 in 2024. However, the current trend is encouraging: year-to-date average monthly employment gains have reached 79,000, with the past three months averaging nearly 188,000 new jobs.
