U.S. Core Inflation Moderates, CPI Hits 3-Year High on June 10

According to Jin10, on June 10, U.S. core inflation showed a moderate increase while overall CPI surged to a three-year high in May. Prior to the CPI data release, CME FedWatch indicated markets had priced in a 70% probability of a rate hike by end-2026, though rate hikes at next week's Federal Reserve meeting were considered highly unlikely, with a 13% probability for July.
