U.S. and Iran Sign Ceasefire Memorandum as Israel Continues Strikes on Lebanon, 4 Soldiers Wounded

According to Jin10 data compiled on June 18, Iran and the U.S. signed an electronic memorandum of understanding that has come into effect. However, Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi stated the agreement must include Israel ceasing military operations against Lebanon, and Trump warned that if dissatisfied with the terms, he will resume bombing campaigns.

Meanwhile, Israel continued military operations against Lebanon despite the ceasefire agreement. The Israeli Defense Force reported that 4 soldiers were wounded in a drone attack in southern Lebanon, while Israeli forces launched 10 missiles targeting the Nabbatieh area. Israel's Finance Minister stated the country will not withdraw from Lebanon, saying the military will remain there as long as Hezbollah remains armed. Iran's Armed Forces Command issued a stern warning against Israel for violating the Lebanese ceasefire accord.
