According to Yonhapinfomax, U.S. Treasury prices surged on July 27 as oil prices declined sharply following a ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. The 10-year Treasury yield fell 3.10 basis points to 4.648%, while the 2-year yield dropped 0.70 basis points to 4.324%. WTI crude oil futures for September delivery plummeted 5.72% to $84.21 per barrel, marking the largest daily decline in approximately two months. The de-escalation between Washington and Tehran eased inflation concerns, putting downward pressure on Treasury yields.
