Uphold Launches Over 4,000 U.S. Stocks and ETFs for Fractional Trading on Tuesday

According to The Block, cryptocurrency trading platform Uphold launched fractional trading for over 4,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs on Tuesday for American customers. The service supports 24/7 trading throughout the week. When exchanging cryptocurrencies for stocks, Uphold converts users' digital assets to U.S. dollars first. Fractional trading is provided by FINRA-registered broker-dealer Uphold Securities Inc., while Uphold HQ, Inc. (a FinCEN-registered U.S. money services business) handles crypto-to-stock conversions, subject to exchange fees.
