According to Ukraine's Energy Ministry, on June 4, multiple regions of Ukraine experienced power outages after military strikes targeted energy infrastructure and facilities. The strikes impacted both energy infrastructure and frontline workers in the sector.

Earlier that morning, a company vehicle operated by the Sumy Regional Power Company came under attack from a Russian unmanned drone, leaving one employee injured. The injured individual was transported to a hospital for treatment.
