UK 10-Year Gilt Yields Rise 2.8 Basis Points on July 16, Touch 5% Intraday

On Thursday (July 16), UK 10-year gilt yields rose 2.8 basis points to 4.966%, with intraday peaks touching 5.002% before pulling back. The 30-year and 50-year yields climbed 2.9 and 3.0 basis points respectively, while two-year yields gained 2.5 basis points to 4.340%.
