UK 10-Year Gilt Yield Rises to 4.776% on Thursday, Hits Session High at 4.816% Ahead of US Jobs Report

On Thursday (July 2), the UK 10-year gilt yield rose 1.9 basis points to 4.776% during European trading, reaching a daily high of 4.816% just before the US non-farm payroll report. The 2-year yield fell 0.7 basis points to 4.199%, while the 30-year and 50-year yields gained 2.5 and 2.6 basis points, respectively. The 2/10-year yield spread widened by 2.474 basis points to +65.442 basis points.
