According to Foresight News, on July 15, two developers at vladfun hardcoded their own token into the platform's frontend at launch, making it the only visible token while hiding other creators' tokens. The Robinhood Chain token platform discovered the malicious code within 2 hours, immediately fired the developers, removed the code, and recovered funds. The developers initially blamed the issue on RPC failures and caching, but evidence showed manual hardcoding in the final submission. The team recovered approximately $15,000 in creator fees and test token profits, with around 7.8 ETH stored in the team's security wallet. vladfun stated it never authorized a vladfun token issuance and prioritized addressing affected users.
