Trump Administration Expands ICE Deployments to New York City This Week

According to Bloomberg, the Trump administration announced plans on Monday to significantly increase U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel deployments to New York City. White House border chief Tom Homan stated that he had previously warned New York Governor Kathy Hochul about the expansion before she signed legislation last month restricting ICE operations in the state and prohibiting masked enforcement actions.
