BlockBeats News, May 7 — The Zcash (ZEC) Foundation announced it will take over the three major core community assets of Zcash: the Zcash GitHub organization (including key repositories such as librustzcash, zips, lightwalletd, and zcashd), the z「.」cash website and domain, and the X platform @Zcash account. Previously, these assets were well managed by ZODL; after the transition, they will remain open source, with existing licenses unchanged, all contributor permissions preserved, and community collaboration still welcomed.

The daily operation of the website and the @Zcash account will be handled by community contributor ZecHub. The two parties have signed a multi-year cooperation agreement, and the z.cash domain has also been redirected to zechub.wiki.
