TSLA-1.27%
Tesla stock fell 4.13% to approximately $358.55 in after-hours trading on Wednesday after the electric vehicle manufacturer reported weaker-than-expected second-quarter earnings. The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.33, well below the Bloomberg consensus estimate of $0.50. Although Tesla reported Q2 revenue of $28.24 billion, exceeding the $26.32 billion estimate, adjusted EBITDA of $3.27 billion fell short of the roughly $4 billion forecast, disappointing investors focused on profitability.
