Tempo Payment Chain Launches Receive Policies Feature to Limit Token Reception

TOKEN-0.92%
According to Foresight News, Tempo payment chain recently launched Receive Policies, allowing accounts to restrict receivable tokens and sender addresses at the protocol level. The feature is optional and enables users to configure accepted asset types, permitted sender addresses, and recovery permissions for rejected transfers. If a transfer violates the receive policy, the transaction executes at the protocol layer but funds are routed to a custodial mechanism and a receipt is generated for designated recovery handlers. The function applies to exchanges, custodians, payment channels, and settlement services, preventing unwanted assets from entering accounts and converting rejected transfers into manageable recovery processes rather than lost assets.
