Technology ETF Surges 2.23% on Friday; Semiconductor ETF Gains 66.31% YTD Through May

On Friday, May 29, the Technology ETF rose 2.23%, leading all sector ETFs. The Global Tech Stock Index ETF and Internet Stock Index ETF gained at least 1.61%, while the Semiconductor ETF declined 0.15%. Consumer Discretionary and Energy ETFs fell 0.97% and 1.11%, respectively.

Year-to-date through May, the Semiconductor ETF surged 66.31%. The Global Tech Stock Index ETF, Technology ETF, and Energy ETF each rose at least 26.79%, while the Healthcare ETF fell 3.05% and the Financial ETF declined 5.34%.
