Simultaneously, Russell 2000 small-cap stocks saw employee revenue per capita decline 14% to $122,000, hitting a 3.5-year low, down $20,500 over the same timeframe. The remaining 493 S&P 500 constituents averaged $195,000 revenue per employee. Tech giants' per-employee revenue now exceeds Russell 2000 companies by more than two-fold.
