According to Mario Fehr, Zurich state security official, a stabbing attack at Winterthur train station this morning on May 28 has been classified as a terrorist attack. Fehr stated the classification reflects the suspect's long-standing connections to Islamic extremists and radicalization, noting the individual was reported to police in 2015 for promoting ISIS.
