STMicroelectronics Raises 2026 Data Center Revenue Forecast to $1B

According to Bloomberg, STMicroelectronics raised its 2026 data center revenue forecast to $1 billion from its previous guidance of above $500 million on June 2, citing strong demand for AI infrastructure and progress in ramping up production capacity. The Switzerland-based semiconductor company said 2027 data center revenue could double from 2026 levels if current market conditions persist, up from an earlier outlook of well above $1 billion. ST has entered high-volume production of its silicon-photonics PIC100 platform for 800G and 1.6T optical interconnects used in data centers and AI clusters, and plans to expand capacity to more than quadruple production by 2027.
