SpaceX Raises $75B in Record IPO, Debuts at $150 on June 12, Hits $2.1T Market Cap

SpaceX completed the largest initial public offering ever recorded on June 12, 2026, raising $75 billion after pricing 555.56 million shares at $135 each on June 11. The stock opened at $150 on Nasdaq under ticker SPCX and reached an intraday high of $176.45, up 30.7% from the IPO price, before closing near $159, up 17.8% from the offer price. At that valuation, SpaceX reached a market capitalization of approximately $2.1 trillion.

Elon Musk's stake in SpaceX, representing roughly 38% of the company or approximately 6.4 billion shares including options, added roughly $188 billion in value by midday. According to Forbes and Bloomberg data, Musk's total net worth crossed $1.1 trillion, making him the world's first verified trillionaire.
