SpaceX Discloses 18,712 BTC Holdings on IPO Debut, 8th Largest Corporate Bitcoin Treasury

According to its SEC Form S-1 filing on June 3, SpaceX disclosed 18,712 BTC holdings with a fair value of $1,293 million as of March 31, 2026. The company entered public markets on June 12, becoming the largest IPO on record at a $2.1 trillion valuation, putting its bitcoin treasury in the spotlight.

Data from Bitcointreasuries.net ranks SpaceX 8th among public-company bitcoin holders, ahead of Coinbase Global and Riot Platforms. Combined with Tesla's 11,509 BTC, Musk-linked companies hold 30,221 BTC. Jeff Park, partner at ParaFi Capital and advisor at Bitwise, called SpaceX's position "one of America's most visionary corporate treasuries," noting an average cost basis of $35,000 per BTC.
