South Korea's Reverse Repurchase Ratio Hits 3.55% in July, Highest Since April

According to the Korea Financial Investment Association, the average daily reverse repurchase ratio from July 1-20 reached 3.55%, marking the highest level mid-year. The ratio surged from 1.13% in April and 2.63% in May, reflecting intensifying liquidation pressure as domestic stock market volatility increases. Margin loan balances have declined alongside the rising forced selling activity.
