South Korea's Middle East Crude Oil Imports Fall 37.3% in April

According to data released by the Korea International Trade Association on May 24, South Korea imported 4.49 million barrels of crude oil from the Middle East in April, down 37.3% year-over-year, amid regional geopolitical tensions.

Total crude oil imports reached 8.46 million barrels in April, down 22.8% year-over-year. The Middle East's share of South Korea's total crude imports declined to 53.1% in April from 65.2% a year earlier.
