South Korean Retail Investors Sold Over 1 Trillion Won in Overseas Stocks This Week

According to Yonhap News, South Korean retail investors sold over 1 trillion won (approximately $750 million) in overseas stocks in the first week of June, extending a net selling trend that began in April. The weekly outflow has already approached the record 940 million dollars recorded for the entire month of May. If the pace continues through month-end, it would mark the first consecutive three-month net selling period since April-July 2023.
