South Korean Lawmaker Calls for Delisting of Leveraged ETFs, Says KOSPI Turned into Casino

The conservative opposition party legislator said the products represent "complete policy failure" and destroy trillions of won in corporate value daily. Ahn described South Korea's KOSPI index as having become a "casino," citing concerns that these ETFs mechanically amplify market volatility through forced rebalancing.
