South Korean Individual Investors Buy $1.28 Billion in SK Hynix Leveraged ETFs in June-July

According to Korea Exchange data, individual investors in South Korea made net purchases of 1.66 trillion Korean won (approximately $1.28 billion USD) in seven SK Hynix single-stock leveraged ETF products between June 1 and July 10. During the same period, institutional investors sold 1.57 trillion Korean won worth of these products, while foreign investors sold 136.1 billion Korean won. Among the top 10 most-traded ETF products in that timeframe, five were single-stock leveraged products tied to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, reflecting surging retail trading activity in these highly volatile instruments.
