South Korea to Allow Foreign Investors Direct Access to ETF and ETN Trading

According to South Korea's financial regulators on Sunday, the Financial Services Commission (FSC) is seeking to amend financial investment regulations to permit foreign investors to directly trade exchange-traded funds (ETF) and exchange-traded notes (ETN) on the local market. The proposed changes, set to be announced in June, aim to expand market access beyond individual stocks.
