Solana's Firedancer Validator Client Goes Live on Mainnet; Analyst Brandt Warns of $43.70 SOL Target

SOL0.35%

Jump Crypto’s Firedancer, a Solana validator client, was deployed on Solana’s mainnet and began generating blocks, according to founding engineer Ritchie Patel. The client has already packaged tens of millions of transactions in production, though Patel stated the rollout will proceed incrementally pending completion of security audits, including a recently concluded public security audit with a $1 million prize pool.

Separately, renowned trader Peter Brandt highlighted downside risks for SOL on the weekly chart. Brandt identified a 14-week rectangular formation that, if broken downward and confirmed as a continuation pattern, could validate a large-scale head and shoulders top formation with a target level of $43.70.
