SK Hynix ADR Listing Pushes Won Weaker to 1,400 Level on July 9

According to Today News, the US dollar-won exchange rate dropped sharply on July 9 as SK Hynix's ADR (American Depositary Receipt) listing heightened dollar supply expectations. The currency touched the 1,400 won level after rising to 1,600 won forecast earlier. Foreign stock net selling also eased, while government measures against illegal foreign exchange transactions added downward pressure on the exchange rate.
