Singapore Launches Aspire 2B Supercomputer With 1,500+ Nvidia H200 Processors on June 8

According to the National Supercomputing Centre Singapore (NSCC), Singapore launched Aspire 2B on June 8 to expand the country's computing capacity for AI and scientific research. The system features more than 1,500 Nvidia H200 processors and delivers nearly four times the combined capacity of its predecessors, Aspire 2A and Aspire 2A+. The deployment is part of Singapore's S$270 million (US$210 million) supercomputing investment announced in 2024. NSCC said Aspire 2B is expected to be linked to Quantinuum's Helios quantum computer, due for installation in Singapore near the end of 2026.
