GateNews
Shenzhen's revised waste management regulation, released for public comment through June 23, removes the mandatory scheduled waste disposal requirement and increases penalties for violations. According to the draft revision, individuals who fail to properly dispose of garbage face fines ranging from 100 to 1,000 yuan, while non-compliant organizations may be fined up to 500,000 yuan. The new rules allow garbage collection points in common areas such as building lobbies and underground parking lots, provided the environment remains clean.
