Shastra VC Launches $100M Fund for Indian Deeptech and AI Startups on May 21

According to The Economic Times, Shastra VC, a Bengaluru-based early-stage investor, launched a US$100 million fund on May 21 to back Indian startups in deeptech, defense, AI, and renewable sciences. The firm will deploy US$500,000 to US$3 million per company, focusing on intellectually property-led businesses. The launch expands on approximately US$55 million deployed through its first two funds.
