Recently, Shanghai's Culture and Tourism Bureau released measures to accelerate AI-powered short-form video development. The initiative establishes municipal pilot bases for AI and short-form video applications, supporting enterprises, research institutions, and universities to jointly develop pilot base construction and operations. The bureau will provide subsidies for self-developed AI-powered short-form video projects with market recognition, offering up to 10 million yuan or 20 percent of actual research and development costs, whichever is lower.
